My daughter will be visiting Disneyland in June with family friends and I wanted to know if she will need proof of Residency? We are California Residents but didn't know if minors needed some sort of proof.

Hello, Yvette and welcome to planDisney!

I am chEARing with excitement to hear that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort very soon. I know so many California residents have been enjoying the parks since the reopening. I guess you can say this Magical place was very missed.

Yvette, Hakuna Matata, Guests under the age of 18 will not need to show a form of identification at the entrance. Just be sure to already have made your Theme Park Reservations as those are linked to your home address and used to verify your residency. I also recommend that every member in your party, ages 18 and up, have their form of identification on hand the day you will be entering the parks

Oh Boy! I cannot wait to hEAR all about your Magical return! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with as you prepare for your visit.

    Have so much fun!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
