Hi, my daughter and I will be visiting Disneyland first time in August. We will be staying at Paradise Pier Hotel for 4 days but will only be going to the park 2 days. My question is do we qualify for magic hour time?

    Hi Yadixa!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You and your daughter are going to have such a magical getaway. I'm so glad you have decided to stay on property at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. These hotels boast some amazing theming, great dining, impressive pools, and other wonderful benefits. As you mentioned, one of the most popular reasons Guests love staying on-site is the Extra Magic Hour available one hour prior to park opening at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park every day. As hotel guests, you will have access to this great perk every day of your stay no matter how many days you plan on visiting the parks. When you arrive at the park that offers an Extra Magic Hour, just make sure you show your room key along with your park ticket when you enter. This is all you will need to make use of this benefit each morning. I also would advise arriving at least 15-30 minutes prior to the Extra Magic Hour to make the most of this time.

Since you are staying at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, I just wanted to let you know some of the things I love about this hotel. This is the only Disneyland Resort Hotel that offers a unique rooftop pool deck, and I think you will also enjoy the great quick service food options located at The Sand Bar right by the pool. On select nights you can even view the fireworks complete with music and narration from Disneyland Park from the pool deck! Other fun perks of staying on-property are unique experiences like Trivia Challenges and the Get Up & Go Powerwalk. These would be wonderful activities to take advantage of since you will have days when you are not at the theme parks.

I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
