    My daughter is visiting Disney World with her choir in a few weeks and we are trying to decide the best way to send money with her. Do the parks accept prepaid Visa gift cards?

    What a great time your daughter will have in Walt Disney World Resort with her choir. My daughter and I visited with her choir a few years ago, and it was so much fun!

    While sending prepaid Visa gift cards with your daughter is certainly an option, my advice would be to send Disney Gift Cards for all of her purchases within Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Gift Cards are accepted at all Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are accepted. Guests are able to use Disney Gift Cards at all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park), Disney Springs, Disney World Water Parks, and resort hotels. Disney Gift Cards can be used to purchase admission tickets, annual passes, resort hotel rooms, spa services, as well as merchandise, dining and recreation.

    Of course, you would need to send an alternate form of payment for expenses while in route and for anything not located on Walt Disney World property.

    I like using Disney Gift Cards on my WDW vacations because the balance prints out on my receipts and makes it easy to keep up with how much money is still left on the card.

    Disney Gift Cards can be purchased at most large retailers such as Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and others. I hope this helps with your planning, and I hope your daughter has an amazing time on her choir trip! Have a magical day - Diane W.
