Hello, my daughter is visiting Disney with some friends and I was wanting to send her some money can she use her cash app card or no? If not can she use her phone for Apple Pay?

Hey there, Julee, and welcome to planDisney! I want to first start off by saying how lucky your daughter is! I always ask my parents for Disney World money, and the only response I get is a blank stare! She has to let me in on her secrets because clearly, I’m doing something wrong. Ok….so maybe it’s because I have a job and a family, but I don’t think those things should be factored in when I’m going to Disney! But enough about me — I’d be more than happy to help you send your daughter some Disney dough.

Julee, I have some great news that hopefully offers some peace of mind. Yes, your daughter can use either her Cash App card or Apple Pay throughout the resort. While Apple Pay is an extremely convenient option, not all merchandise locations and dining locations across the resort currently accept this method of payment. With this in mind, I recommend using the Cash App card as the primary method of payment, as payment cards are universally accepted across the entire resort.

Make sure you get her to bring you back something nice! I guess you technically paid for it anyway. But it’s the thought that counts, right?

I hope this helps, Julee! Let me know if you have more questions.

You’ve got a friend in me,
