My Daughter will be 2 1/2 when we visit the Mk in August. I understand that children under 3 are admitted to the park free of charge, but I was wondering if I need to bring a copy of her birth certificate to prove her age. (She is quite tall for 2 1/5.)

    Hi Heather,

A Disney Cast Member will not ask you to prove your daughter's age.  They understand that children come in all shapes and sizes, and rely on the honor system.  If you say your child is under 3, she will be admitted free of charge.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
