My daughter is 2 and we want to visit for the first time. Is she too young to enjoy the rides? Which park is best for her and how can she get a ticket? I read if they are under 3 they get in for free. Do I need to bring her birth certificate?

    Hi, there!

Bianca, I am thrilled to hear you're beginning to plan a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There really is no better place to create magical family memories! It's my pleasure to answer your questions today.

I'm happy to tell you that your daughter is at a fantastic age for Walt Disney World Resort. There are over 80 kid-friendly attractions, shows and experiences that are just perfect for little ones! If you have to choose only one theme park to visit, you simply must take her to Magic Kingdom Park. With enchantment and adventure around every corner, your family is sure to have a magical day! That said, each of Walt Disney World Resort's four theme parks appeal to Guests of all ages, and I recommend you visit all of them if you can.

Children under age 3 are considered special Guests of Mickey Mouse, and do not require theme park admission. There is no need to bring a birth certificate! In addition to free admission, Guests under age 3 may eat for free at all-you-can-eat dining locations like The Crystal Palace. She'll love enjoying a meal with the company of beloved Disney characters, so do try booking a Character Dining Experience for your visit.

My best tip for families traveling with little ones - bring or rent a stroller. You won't regret it!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please visit us again soon!
