My daughter is a vegetarian, we are on the Dining Plus plan. Can you recommend resturants @ WDW. We will be there for 6 days, she is 17.

    Hi Mary,

As a former vegetarian, I had some amazingly delicious vegetarian meals at Walt Disney World.  Your daughter shouldn't have any difficulty dining at any of the table service restaurants. You might want to include a notation in your reservation that a guest in your party is a vegetarian; and if you find the vegetarian choices not to your liking, don't hesitate to let your server know.  I've had meals prepared for me that weren't on the menu.

My favorite restaurants are Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort (my favorite is the Vegetarian Unplugged, which isn't always on the menu), Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Via Napoli at Epcot, Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre at Disney's Hollywood Studios, The Wave at the Contemporary Resort, and both Artist Point and Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.  Just an fyi, some of these don't have many vegetarian offerings, but what I had was tasty!

You may want to visit www.disneyfoodblog.com and search for vegetarian.  You'll find many helpful articles, too.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
