Hi there, Elizabeth!
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question.
I'm so excited to hEAR you have an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! It's good to know you're planning ahead for your daughter's medical needs before you arrive. I can assure you that Walt Disney World goes above and beyond to help Guests with medical needs have the most magical experience ever when they visit the theme parks.
No need to worry about bringing any of your daughter's medical supplies (and also snacks and drinks) into the parks with you. Just let the Cast Members know that you have medically necessary items in your bag when you go through security. You'll be allowed to bring in a small cooler if you'd like, but please note that
loose ice is not allowed. Reusable ice packs are the best bet if you need to keep anything cool throughout the day.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is offered by Walt Disney World Theme Parks to Guests whose medical needs or disability prevents them from waiting in the standard queue environment for shows and attractions. To receive DAS accommodations, Guests will need to visit
Guest Relations in person, on-site. Guest Relations can be found in the following locations:
Cast Members at Guest Relations will work with Guests, based on their specific needs, to provide accommodations if needed. You can also reach out to Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com to discuss your daughter's particular needs before you arrive.
I hope this helps as you plan and prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
