Hello there,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad to hear you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth with your family - it's going to be such a special experience!
While there are no special tickets from the Disneyland Resort, there are quite a few ways to stick to a budget during a visit to the parks. If you're looking for direct ways to find discounts on your trip, I would recommend the
Special Offers and Discounts page on the Disneyland Resort website. There are various promotions going on at any given time that might help you save on your trip depending on your circumstances.
While I love the magic of the
Disneyland Resort hotels, they're not the easiest to fit in a trip on a budget! Luckily, there is also a really handy list of
Good Neighbor Hotels that are often within walking distance of the parks and can be a bit more affordable. I'm a huge proponent of staying in one of these hotels, especially with older kids who can handle a 5-15 minute walk from the hotel to the park, and some hotels even offer a shuttle service!
Another aspect I love about a trip to the Disneyland Resort is all the food offerings! However, this is another area that I'll typically plan to cut back on when I'm trying to make sure a trip fits in our family's budget because those churros add up quickly!
You can bring snacks in with you between meals and I'm a huge fan of bringing in a refillable water bottle so that we can use the
refilling stations located around both parks.
Thanks again for your question! I'm hopeful that you all are able to swing a trip to the Disneyland Resort next month and that it's filled with new magical memories with your daughter's foster children.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
