Hey there, hi there, Peter! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with this oh-so-special holiday planning question.
Peter, I squealed when I read your question because my family and I will also be celebrating our daughter's tenth birthday at
Walt Disney World Resort at the beginning of April! It
is a small world after all! It sounds as if your magical birthday planning is off to a practically perfect start. So, let's get your loose planning ends tied up with a pixie-dusted birthday bow.
While, unfortunately, there is no service to have your room decorated for you, I recommend checking out
Disney Floral & Gifts online. Here, you can order birthday flowers, balloons, banners, gift baskets, cupcakes, and more to be delivered right to the front desk at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I've been eyeing "A Very Pluto Birthday Celebration" gift basket, overflowing with snacks, treats, keepsakes, an autographed birthday card from Pluto himself, and the cutest "Let's Celebrate" banner for the room's door. Add some balloons, and you have pure pixie dust. Double digits deserve the most magical celebration!
If you haven't already, I recommend booking a special birthday dinner for your daughter and making sure the server is aware that it's her special day. I have to share that my daughter requested to have her birthday dinner at the
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package in EPCOT. So, while your daughter is spending her tenth birthday in the U.S., my daughter wishes to spend hers in the U.K.! "Though the mountains divide and the oceans are wide, it's a small world after all."
I hope this was helpful, Peter, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable birthday celebration! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
