My daughter turns 5 in October. We hope to dine in the Castle with the princesses. I would like to order a celebration cake but she is allergic to dairy. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Wishing your daughter an early birthday!

Since the celebration cakes are "already made," they may not be the best option for you. To begin with, you will want to include a notation in your reservation about your daughter's allergy; WDW dining is absolutely amazing at accommodating guest's dietary needs. Then, you may want to consider pre-ordering a cake for her by calling 407-827-2253, which should be able to help you out.  If you visit www.disneyfoodblog.com and do a search for birthday treats; you'll see a wide-range of treats guests have had to celebrate their birthdays, including some made with respect to guest's diets.

Also, reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table book up very, very quickly.  You will need to call early in the morning when you are 180 days away from the day you'd like to dine. If you visit pscalculator.net, it can help determine the first day you can begin making your reservations.
