If my daughter turns 3 in the middle of our vacation, does she need a park ticket once she turns 3? (I.E. me and my husband buy 4 day pass, she’ll need 2 day pass?)

Hello to my fellow Disney fan from Pennsylvania! Welcome to planDisney, Kaitlyn! I’m glad you stopped by with your question!

It sounds like a little Disney princess is celebrating her birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort! Birthdays at the Most Magical Place on Earth are great for any age! I celebrated my 40th birthday at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park! My twin sons celebrated their 7th birthday at The Plaza Restaurant, also in Magic Kingdom Park!

While it is unlikely that a Cast Member at the parks would inquire about age, Guests aged 3 and above need a ticket to be admitted to the Disney Parks. There is a reduced ticket price for children ages 3 to 9 years old.

Upon arriving at either your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or a Disney Park, be sure to ask for a birthday button! The buttons are complimentary! They are available at the front desk of any Disney Resort hotel and at Guest Relations at any Disney Park! Cast Members and Guests, alike, will all want to wish “Happy Birthday” to your daughter! Also, if you happen to book any Disney Dining reservations, be sure to notify the front desk, as well as your server, that you are celebrating a birthday. Cast Members always try to add a little extra magic to a special celebration!

    Happy Planning!
