My daughter turns 3 February 3rd, if we go that day, would I have to pay for her ticket? or do we have that one last day to get her in for free? TIA

    Hello, Karla,

Thanks for bringing your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m sure you and your little princess are excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

For guests visiting the Disneyland Resort with a vacation package that includes theme park tickets at a hotel stay, either at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel, the ages of guests at check-in are used for the purpose of determining the necessary ticket type for the duration of the stay. When tickets are purchased separately from a vacation package, each guest is expected to have the required type of ticket appropriate for each day entering one of the parks.

When you visit the parks on your daughter’s birthday, I recommend you ask a Cast Member where you might go to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button. They are always available at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park. They can often be found at other locations as well. A button customized with her name will be sure to bring some extra pixie dust her way throughout the day.

I wish a very happy birthday to your daughter and a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort for all of you.
