If my daughter turns 3 while we are at Disney, do we have to pay for her? I was just told yes by a cast member on the phone, but I see posts from 2014 and 2016 saying that “no one ages at Disney”. Has this changed?

Hello Katie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I remember booking a last-minute Walt Disney World Resort vacation a few weeks before my son was to turn 3-years old to take advantage of complimentary admission to Theme Parks for little Mouseketeers under 3.

In terms of Theme Park admission, if your family is staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or has Multi-day Theme Park Tickets for your visit, your little one will be considered the age they were when you Check-In to your Resort Hotel or use the Multi-day Theme Park Tickets for the first time for the duration of your visit. This means that if your little one is 2 when you Check-In to a Resort Hotel, they will be considered 2-until you Check-Out (but only in terms of Theme Park Admission).

If you activate Multi-day Theme Park Admission for your party and enter when your child is 2-years old, they can enter with that party until the days on the Multi-day passes have been used up or 14 days (whichever comes first).

Be sure to look into all of the Magic Planning tools provided by Walt Disney World Resort to assist in planning a magical visit for your Preschoolers to maximize your Disney magic.

    Have a Magical Visit!
