I want to take my daughter who will be turning 3 yrs old. The day we would like to take her is on her actual birth-day. Does Disneyland provide free admission on your birthday? Can I take my daughter dressed up as princess?

    Hi, Citlaly!

Wow, your visit is just around the corner! I'm glad to hear you’ll soon be enjoying The Happiest Place on Earth with your little birthday princess!

Although the Disneyland Resort did grant free park admission tickets to Guests on their birthday as part of a promotion several years ago, this is not currently offered. However, children under the age of 3 don’t require a theme park ticket, so your daughter could enter for free if you visit prior to the day of her third birthday. Yes, children age 9 and under are allowed to visit the theme parks in costume, so feel free to bring along her princess outfit or purchase one at the resort!

Whether you decide to visit on her actual birthday or shortly before, be sure to celebrate by picking up a complimentary birthday button for your daughter at City Hall in Disneyland Park. It can be customized with her name so she will receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members all day! If you have any table-service meals planned, let your server know you’re celebrating a birthday because you may receive some extra magic during your dining experience.

I hope this helps, Citlaly! Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you put the final touches on your pixie-dusted visit.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
