Hi, I have a daughter whom will be turning 8 years old and is interested in finding out how much it cost for a birthday package if there is such thing at Disneyland.

Hi there, Lindzy! We are so happy to have you here at planDisney! A birthday celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth is sure to be extra magical. We have spent a few milestone birthdays in the parks, and each is as special as the last!

While there are no specific birthday packages available, there are many ways to fill each moment with magic. First and foremost, you'll want to stop and get your daughter a complimentary "I'm Celebrating!" button. These are available at most retail locations or at City Hall which is just to the left as you pass under the Disneyland Railroad. Not only will she be greeted with birthday wishes throughout the day, you just never know what kind of pixie dust might follow!

When we are in the parks for a celebration, we love to book a special dining reservation. This gives us a moment to come together, slow down, and really let the magic settle in around us. My favorite is Blue Bayou Restaurant where you dine under the stars and watch your fellow Guests sail away on their Pirates of the Caribbean adventure. Another great option is dinner with a view of one of the nighttime spectaculars. Both Blue Bayou and River Belle Terrace offer Fantasmic! Dining Packages which will certainly be the frosting on the cake of a Disneyland day! There are a few restaurants that also allow you to order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake when you make your reservation. This mouse-shaped cake is as delicious as it is adorable and makes a very sweet surprise at the end of your meal. Currently, Blue Bayou, Café Orléans, Lamplight Lounge, River Belle Terrace, and Wine Country Trattoria offer these special additions! You could also consider getting reservations for the World of Color Dessert Party over at Disney California Adventure Park. Here, you will feast on sweet and savory treats from your reserved table while watching the magic unfold in front of you!

If you happen to be staying overnight at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, why not add an In-Room Celebration? Your daughter could walk into a room and be greeted with balloons and sweet surprises! A few friends of mine did this for me recently, and I have to say it filled my heart with magic and joy!

My last suggestion would be to add Genie+ to your theme park tickets. With this upgrade, you will also get unlimited access to any Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. Don't be shy, hop in front of all those cameras to capture the moment! You could even pick out a new picture frame to commemorate the day at World of Disney on your way out or put together an album full of magical memories for her once you're home! Don't forget to ask for a few Magic Shots ... trust me!

If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Sending magic and birthday wishes!
