My daughter will be turning 3 years old around the time of our Disney World vacation. Will we need to buy her a park ticket?

    Hi Sabrina!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Walt Disney World Park Admission Tickets are required for all children ages 3 and over. My granddaughter turned 3 during our last visit and we were advised by a Cast Member that whatever age she was when we first arrived is the age we should consider her for our entire stay. This is the general rule of thumb for determining when you should start buying tickets for little ones. If your princess is 3 when you arrive, she would be required to have her own Park Admission Ticket. That being said, Disney operates on the honor system in this situation and you will not be asked for ID or any other proof of age.

Be sure to check out the great ideas online for how to make the very most of every minute at Walt Disney World with children. I can't wait for you to make magical memories with the people you love!

Please come back if there is anything else we can do to help you with your planning. Have a wonderful day!
