Hi, Adriana! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What a magical way to celebrate a first birthday! Don’t forget to stop by Guest Relations for a special birthday button! I just did a
quick search of dinner availability on December 18th, 2017 and I do see some Disney restaurants with seating available for your group of 10. These include Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot (my personal favorite which includes a buffet meal and entertainment), The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (a quick Resort Monorail ride over from Magic Kingdom Park), and The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs (availability at all restaurants subject to change). Alternatively, if you have your heart set on a Character Meal, I would suggest to call Disney Dining Reservations every morning or go online to verify availability as Guests sometimes cancel, creating additional availability. Also, you have the option of making a walk-up reservation the morning of! I have heard of Guests walking up to Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park first thing in the morning and being able to get a same-day dinner reservation! Did you know that you can also order a cake to be delivered to select Disney restaurants by calling (407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours in advance of your reservation?
Although your little one is still a tad too young for a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover, why not bring her to
Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom Park to get a haircut? If it’s her first haircut, she can even take advantage of the "My First Haircut" package, which includes commemorative Mickey Ears and a certificate!
I hope this answers your question and that your daughter has a fantastic 1st birthday! Please come and visit us again soon,
Jen
