    My daughter is turning two at Disneyland and we have made a reservation at Goofy's kitchen to celebrate. She has food allergies - can we bring our own birthday cake? Thank you!

    Hi there, Carrie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question. Celebrating your little one's birthday at the Disneyland Resort is going to be so unbelievably magical!

    Goofy's Kitchen is the perfect place for a fun-filled birthday meal as your daughter will delight in meeting Goofy and his pals! I spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that bringing in an outside cake wouldn't be allowed. However, you still have some options to provide a birthday cake for your daughter. First, email the chefs at the Disneyland Resort at Special.Diets@disneyland.com. You can discuss creating a special birthday cake that adheres to your child's special diet and also go over which menu items at Goofy's Kitchen would be safe for your daughter to eat. I suggest contacting the chefs as soon as possible so accommodations can be made prior to your arrival. You should also know that that allergy-friendly menus are available at most, if not all, quick service and table service restaurants. The Disneyland Resort takes special dietary requests quite seriously so that everyone that visits the parks can have an enjoyable experience.
