My daughter is turning three and we were thinking about taking her to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. I am worried that it may be too much for her. Is she too young for this experience or do kids this age enjoy this restaurant?

    Hi Heather,

I am lucky enough to live not that far away from the Rainforest Cafe in New Jersey.  I have been taking my daughter since she was about one.  There is an illusionary thunderstorm every 15-30 minutes.  The lights dim, but its not very scary.  Most children really like to watch the animatronic wildlife.  If you check out Rainforest Cafe on disney.com you will notice that they recommend it for preschoolers.

I would imagine that your daughter will love it.  All of our friends have taken their children there at different ages and I can't recall anyone having a problem with a child being scared.

    Enjoy
