My daughter is turning 5 and I promised her Disney World...We are on a budget but we want to know the best kid friendly resort there and kid friendly hotels close by with transportation to the resorts.

    Hello Morgan,

I think all of the Disney Resorts offer a little something to make themselves fun for kids. So it's hard for me to choose just one kid-friendly spot. But since you're on a budget, I narrowed it down to two.

Out of the Value Resorts, I like the Pop Century Resort. This is also my sister's favorite resort. She loves it here for many reasons. But what she thinks stands out is its larger-than-life whimsy. Plus, it has the Goofy Kiddie Spray Area, a play fountain located between the 60s and 70s that kids just love!

If you'd like to consider a Moderate Resort, how about the Caribbean Beach Resort? What kid wouldn't want to stay in a Pirate Room? It offers the only themed rooms on property with ship-shaped beds. And the pool resembles a Spanish fort complete with cannons!

My family always stays at a Disney Resort. We like being close to all of the magic. And you can make use of the complimentary transportation to the theme parks.

I hope this helps you make a decision as you're planning your Disney vacation. Happy trip planning!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
