My daughter is turning one and im planing on celebrating her and my nephew birthday party at Disney world what are some good rides for a 1 year old and 4byear old at the park

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cha-Quita!

Celebrating at the Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to spend a first birthday! Did you know you can stop by Guest Relations for complimentary buttons? It's so much fun when Cast Members and other guests wish your little Mousketeer a Happy Birthday.

If you are planning on visiting Magic Kingdom Park with the iconic Cinderella Castle, you will find lots of attractions your little Princess (and her cousin) will love. When my son was 1-year-old, he made his first trip to Magic Kingdom Park and a few of his favorites were The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Under The Sea- Journey of The Little Mermaid, "it's a small world" and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. All of these attractions are able to be enjoyed by everyone in the family and they each have such great music and visuals for little ones.

There are also family friendly attractions at each of the other Theme Parks around the Walt Disney World Resort. Just a few of my favorites for toddler and preschoolers are the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at Epcot, Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

As you are preparing for your visit, I would encourage you to utilize the Fastpass+ system and reserve your selections in advance. If you are unfamiliar, Fastpass+ allows you to skip the stand-by line for three attractions and reserve your spot before even arriving at the park. You can do this after linking your ticket to your My Disney Experience account.

Cha-Quita, I can tell you Mom to Mom, this will be a trip you'll remember even when your Princess is older than the Queen. Come back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have. Thanks for stopping by!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Pennsylvania

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
