    My daughter is turning 4, January 16, 2015. Are there any packages for having a birthday weekend? It will only be a family of 4 attending. Also her favorite character is Minnie Mouse. I'm also open to Disney Cruise vacations as well.

    I want to wish your little princess a very happy birthday from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for the big 4-years-old!

    Unfortunately, I am not seeing any special offers listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website for that time frame, but there is special pricing on select Disney Cruises for late January and early February. My family took our first Disney Cruise last February and loved it! The kids thought it was amazing. As a cruise novice myself, I suggest reaching out to our wonderful Disney Cruise Line Moms with any questions or concerns should you choose that adventure.

    Now, I do know a thing or two about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and January is a beautiful time to visit. I suggest one of the practically perfect Princess Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, or to make a splash with Ariel in one of the Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. There are plenty of places for your daughter to see her favorite Disney friend, Minnie. Perhaps she would enjoy a wonderful birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort? (You can even order a cake ahead of time!) She can also visit with the "bow-tiful" Minnie at Adventures Outpost in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or as a circus star for Pete's Silly Side Show in Magic Kingdom Park. I am sure you will find the perfect storybook adventure for your little one, but please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.
