    My daughter is turning 5 on January 5th and we'll be celebrating it at Disney on February 17 for one day. I have booked a character breakfast already. Are there any other perks at Disney to make her birthday celebration even more special?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this birthday planning question! There is no better place to celebrate a 5th Birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort!

    There are many magical ways to celebrate a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort. My first recommendation is to get a free "Happy Birthday" button for your daughter upon arrival! When your daughter wears her Happy Birthday button, Cast Members and other Guests will wish her a "Happy Birthday." Plus, you never know what pixie dust might come your way when wearing a Happy Birthday button! If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can pick up your button upon check-in. If not, you can pick up your button at Guest Relations in any of the theme parks or at Disney Springs.

    Be sure to note on any Table-Service dining reservations that you are celebrating your daughter's birthday. In my experience, Cast Members will usually provide a complimentary cupcake, even at breakfast! In addition, take a look at the Customize Your Special Occasion page where you can personalize your celebration and even order a custom cake! For an extra special surprise for your daughter, you may want to look into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney Springs. There are many packages to choose from, and the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training go the extra mile to make your little one feel like royalty!
