My daughter will be turning 3 during the trip...Do I still need to purchase park tickets for her? And she is tall for her age do I need to bring some kind of proof?

    Hi Shatedra!

It sounds like you are planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation that will be even more magical since you will be celebrating your little princess's birthday during your trip! Be sure to get her a birthday celebration button for her so Cast Members and other Guests can join in the celebration. We celebrated my son's third birthday at Magic Kingdom and our favorite moment was when he got a special birthday song from the Dapper Dans on Main Street, U.S.A. I highly recommend that you add Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture all of the magical memories you make together during your vacation!

One of the cool things about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that Guests don't age during their trip! So not only does this mean that Disney Parks vacations keep you young, but it also means that a Guest's age at the start of the trip will be considered their age for the entire duration of their trip for ticketing purposes. This means that since your daughter will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, she will be considered 2 years old for your entire trip and since Guests who are under 3 years old receive complimentary admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you won't need to purchase a theme park ticket for your daughter. This will definitely save you money, which you can use towards extra Dole Whips and souvenEARs!

You do not need to plan to bring identification or proof of her age for your daughter to enter the theme parks. Simply let the Cast Members at the theme park entrance know that she is 2 years old and they will allow her in to enjoy the magic. We always bring identification for my sons with us for the airport identification, but we store it safely in our room while we enjoy the theme parks.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
