Our daughter will be turning 3 during our trip in May, and our son will be turning 2 the day before we leave. We have the Dining Plan for my husband, older son and myself. Will there be an issue with them eating at the buffet meals we have booked?

Hello Christine!  Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I love the Disney Dining Plan, I am so glad to see you have added it to your vacation.

At Walt Disney World, children 3 and under can dine for free!  Isn't that great news?  At all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants you can make them as many plates as you want during your meal.  At restaurants where you order an entree, little ones can share off of anyone else's plate at your table.  If you wish to order a kids meal or something extra for them, only then would you need to pay extra.  I think this is a really nice option for families with small children at Walt Disney World.  My daughter was such a picky eater, it saved us a lot of money.

Have a wonderful vacation.  If I can help you with any other questions you may have, please don't hesitate to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
