My daughter will be turning 3 DURING our trip, but we will be checking into our Disney resort (tickets & DP included) when she is 2. Are we expected to buy tickets & a dining plan for her once she is 3 (even if we only have 2 days left in our trip)

    Hi Jonathan,

Walt Disney World is a terrific place to celebrate a birthday, regardless of your age. But the good news for you: Because your daughter will be 2 at the beginning of your vacation, she won't have to have a ticket or dining plan throughout your stay. She can eat free at any of the buffet restaurants and you won't need to purchase a meal for her at any of the quick service or table service restaurants as long as you share with her from your order.

Make sure you get a free Happy Birthday button for her to wear during your visit. Birthday girls gets lots of good wishes and sometimes a magical birthday surprise.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a magical birthday visit with your princess!
