My daughter will be turning 5 during our stay at Disney World!!! What are some "special" birthday things we can plan for her during out time there, and when/how do I go about arranging them.

    Hello Ami!

Welcome back! I love celebrating birthdays at the Walt Disney World Resort-there are so many way to make it special. My husband and I have two daughters, so I think I have some ideas you could use.

First things first...what would a birthday be without decorations and cake? Disney Floral and Gifts has some incredible offerings-everything from room decor to gift baskets, from flowers to cupcakes, they have it covered.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will provide your princess with the royal treatment on her birthday! With locations in both the Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs, she will be sure to be pampered with a beautiful hair style, some nail polish, a little pixie dust and a couple of other surprises. If you have princes in your life, ask about prince packages so they don't feel left out of the fun.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a dessert party! There are several to choose from; does she love Elsa and the movie Frozen? The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party may be a perfect choice for you-it includes dessert, a special viewing area for IllumiNations and a ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction in the Norway Pavilion. Maybe she's more of a Star Wars kind of girl? The Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party includes both dessert and reserved seating for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.

    Have a magical time!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
