Our daughter will b turning 10 while at Disney. So should buy tkt for a 9 y.o. or 10 y.o./adult. I heard that if I buy 9 y.o. tktk we can upgrade for FREE while there to a 10 y.o/adult. Won't that be cheaper? How does that work? THANKS!!!!

    HI Pearl!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

You should buy a ticket for your daughter based on her age on the first day you plan on using the ticket.  So if she is 9 years old the first day she uses the ticket, then you should get a child's ticket.

Disney won't ask for proof of age or anything, so you should be good to go.  You really don't have to worry about upgrading the ticket unless you get the No Expiration option and you plan on holding onto the ticket for a few years!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
