Our daughter is turning 3 and we currently have 3 Magic Key passes. Can we purchase the top tier “Inspire” pass online without being present at the location?

Greetings, Monique, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like three members of your family have a Magic Key pass, and you're looking to get one more now that your daughter is turning three. As a fellow Magic Key holder and a mom of two little ones, I would be happy to share some information to guide your next steps.

Monique, your options for purchasing a Magic Key pass for your little one depend on whether or not the passes are on sale to the general public once she turns three. The timing may work out perfectly if her birthday is soon – the Inspire and Believe Key annual passes go back on sale Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Assuming these passes are still available by her third birthday, you could easily purchase one for her online. Make sure you're signed in to the same MyDisney account that's associated with your other Magic Key passes.

If sales for Magic Key passes are paused by the time your daughter turns three, there's still an option for you, although it's not as convenient. As a Magic Key holder, you can purchase a pass for her within 60 days of her birthday at a Disneyland Resort ticket booth. Your daughter would need to be with you, and you'd need to bring an original copy of her birth certificate or passport for verification.

During your next visit, grab a complimentary birthday button for your daughter at the start of the day! Many retail locations and City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. have them – just ask a Cast Member. You can also get an "I'm Celebrating" button for yourself. We've experienced Cast Members, Characters, and even other Guests wishing us a happy birthday after noticing the button. My daughter also loved the celebratory scenes in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland. And, of course, no birthday visit is complete without a sweet treat!

Once she turns three, your daughter will also be old enough to enjoy a magical makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. My little one went not long after her birthday and had the best time. The packages at this special spot recently received enhancements, including special visits from the Fairy Godmother!

Monique, on behalf of all of us at planDisney, I'd like to wish your daughter a happy early birthday! I hope your family continues to make happy memories together at the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help!
