Hi Molly!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting is it that you can finally say, “My Disney Cruise Line vacation is NEXT month!?!?” Before you know it, you will be celebrating on deck with Captain Mickey as you head to sea to make memories that will last a lifetime!
The onboard Youth Clubs are definitely some of the favorite things about Disney Cruise Line for my family. My boys love spending time in the Oceaneer Club and Lab and it’s usually a struggle to get them out when it’s time for dinner or bed! And my husband and I love the Youth Clubs because we know they are safe and having the best time and WE get a chance to relax and even enjoy the adult-exclusive venues onboard! During secured programming (when you can check children into the Youth Clubs), the Oceaneer Club and Lab is reserved exclusively for children ages 3-12. Unfortunately, during those secured programming hours, your older daughter will not be able to join her sister in the
Oceaneer Club or Lab. But there are scheduled Open House hours that anyone can go play – grown ups too! So, look for those hours on the Navigator app and plan for your girls to go and enjoy the space together during that time! Then, during Open House hours for
Edge, the tween club exclusive to Guests ages 11-14, your eight-year old can join her sister in her special space! If either of your daughters are hesitant about going to their own age-specific Youth Clubs, I recommend visiting the spaces with them on embarkation day. They are usually open for Open House hours on the afternoon that you embark, and this will give everyone an opportunity to explore the spaces and meet the Youth Counselors!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
