My daughter just turned 4 in Aug. We were not able to take her before she turned 4. Will Disneyland still honor her getting in parks or will a ticket have to purchase for her?

    Hello, Caroline!

Let me first begin by saying “Happy Birthday!”, to your little one from all of us here at planDisney. I’m also celebrating my little princess, as she too turns 4 years old. They are truly so much fun at this age! I’m not sure about you, but everything at my house is princesses and pirates. The perfect combination of two of her favorite Disney things!

Caroline, you’ll want to go ahead and purchase a theme park ticket for your daughter. Guests 3 years old and older require a theme park ticket to enter the parks. I will say, we did visit plenty of times while both my kids were 2 years old and under! Even though they didn’t meet all the attraction height requirements, just seeing them grow up at both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort has been worth every trip!

Don’t forget to schedule everyone’s theme park reservations after purchasing your tickets. After that, it’s just a matter of counting down the days until you arrive!

Have the most magical visit and please wish your daughter a very happy birthday from all of us!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
