My daughter will turn 3 in the middle of our week at Disneyland. Trip will be paid for in full before we leave. Will I need to buy her a park ticket on her 3rd birthday? Getting mixed info on this. Don't want to lie about her age. Want to celebrate 3!

    Hello Ann!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

As long as your child is under the age of 3 at the beginning of your trip, you are fine throughout your entire trip as far as theme park tickets are concerned. They will not make you repurchase a park ticket on the day she turns 3.

As far as celebrating, Disneyland Resort has a way to make sure your daughter has an extra special day. When you arrive, you can pick up a complimentary birthday button at Guest Relations at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. I love how some Cast Members go out of their way to wish people a Happy Birthday or whatever they are celebrating when they see these buttons!

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you are planning your visit.

    See you real soon!
