My daughter will turn 3 halfway through our trip, we are not staying on site so will I need to purchase her a ticket?

How ya doin' Elizabeth and welcome to planDisney!

Happy early birthday to your beautiful princess. I was 3 on my first trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth and now a million years later, I love pulling out the old pictures with my mom and reliving the magic. You all are going to have the best time. And the best part is, it's still free for her! As long as she's still 2 years old on your arrival date, she won't need a Ticket or a Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System for the duration of your trip. Take advantage of it because for any future trips she will need a ticket for children ages 3-9.

Pro-tip: Make sure your first stop in the theme parks is at Guest Relations. Your daughter can get a complimentary Happy Birthday button and the rest of your party can get I'm Celebrating buttons. This way everybody in the parks will know how to greet her and she just may get a bit of pixie dust!

Elizabeth, enjoy these memories with your baby girl. She'll be a grown-up before you know it. But this trip is setting her up to believe in magic for the rest of her life. If you have any other questions, please come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
