My daughter will turn 3 during our trip to WDW. We have reservations at several buffets. Will I have to pay for her at the buffets after her birthday? Or will she be able to eat for free since she will still be 2 on our first day at the park? Thank you!

Hello Nadiya, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I have great news!  Guests under the age of 3 are very special guests of my pal, Mickey Mouse.  Since your daughter will be 2 at the time of check in, that's the age she will be considered the entire trip when it comes to meals and tickets.  She will still be able to eat for free at the buffets and she will be able to plate share for free at other restaurants.

I hope this helps.  Feel free to stop back by with any other questions you might have.  I hope your princess has a practically perfect Disney birthday!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
