My daughter will turn 3 in December. How much does the ticket cost for children under 3

Welcome to planDisney, Cynthia! How exciting to see that you're planning to bring your princess to the Most Magical Place on Earth this fall! I have such fond memories of both of my girls' very first trips to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and I am sure you are going to make many of your own seeing the magic through your daughter's eyes!

Cynthia, I've got some great news for you! Children who are under 3 years of age when they visit the Walt Disney World Resort are considered to be "Guests of Mickey" and do not require a theme park ticket for admission into the parks! So your daughter is welcome to enter the theme parks and experience all of the excitement of Disney at no cost to you!

This courtesy also extends to any buffet-style or family-style dining reservations you may choose to make; your daughter will be allowed to eat at no additional cost, but you do want to include her as a guest on any advance dining reservations you make to ensure appropriate seating is available! With this in mind, you might want to consider a character dining experience so your daughter can meet some of her favorite characters without standing in line - my favorite character dining experience is Garden Grill in EPCOT, where Farmer Mickey greets his guests alongside Chip 'n' Dale and Pluto!

And since you'll be visiting during the spooky season, your daughter would also not require a ticket for entry into Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party if you want to check out that special event! It's one of my favorite extras available at Magic Kingdom Park during the Halloween season, and I'm sure your daughter would love trick or treating throughout the park, watching the special Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and meeting some of her favorite characters in their Halloween costumes! Definitely keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for 2024 dates and ticket sale information if you're interested!

It's been quite some time since I have traveled to Disney with young ones in tow, but I'd love to share a few of my girls' favorites from those early trips we took when they were younger:
These are just a few of the many things that are available to guests of all ages; be sure to check out the complete list so you can plan which attractions, shows, and special offerings you won't want to miss!

Cynthia, I hope this is helpful and I am wishing you and your daughter a magical vacation! I hope to see you back again at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions before your trip!

    Magic Awaits,
