Being a member of the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family is the best! I loved my days of feeling like I could visit Mickey to my heart's content and swaggering through the Annual Passholder tapstiles at the theme parks. And don't get me started on all the
special treats, merchandise, discounts, and perks!
The process of ordering the
MagicBand that comes with your Walt Disney World annual pass is a little confusing. If you are eligible for a MagicBand, you need to ensure your annual passes are linked to your
My Disney Experience accounts. Then, you must activate the pass at any Guest Relations location and use the annual pass to enter a theme park or water park. Once you've done that, you'll see the option to customize your MagicBand if you're eligible. When I was an annual passholder, that meant that I didn't have my passholder MagicBand on my first visit as a passholder. I ordered it when I got home, and it was such an exciting day when that magical box arrived with my MagicBand and Passholder slider in it!
If you've already activated your annual passes and still don't see the option to customize a MagicBand, I recommend calling (407) WDW-PASS or filling out the Annual Passholder help form. All the steps can be found on the

I also want to note that
complimentary MagicBands will no longer be offered for annual passholders beginning August 16, 2021. Passholders will still be able to use any MagicBands they have,
Disney MagicMobile Service, new MagicBands, and the Annual Pass card.
