Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you have dinner reservations for
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White! My family and I have had the opportunity to experience this unique
character meal on a couple of occasions, and I'm happy to tell you that it's one of our favorites. From the enchanting atmosphere to the extraordinary character interactions to the delicious menu, we loved everything about our visit to Artist Point.
One of the things my family and I enjoyed most about this dining experience is that it gave us the opportunity to try lots of different foods. For a fixed price, your table will receive a trio of appetizers to share. Each Guest will then select their own individual entrée, and the meal concludes with a selection of shared desserts. While the presentation of the dishes at this dining location could be described as unique and inventive, I think you will find that there are many familiar flavors here.
Dining while on vacation can be a great way to branch out and try new things, however, I do understand that this is not always a desirable situation for pickier eaters. My teenage son is an extremely picky eater who tends to stick mostly to foods that are typically found on kids' menus. I can tell you from personal experience that the Cast Members at
Walt Disney World Resort's restaurants are wonderful at accommodating Guests' dietary needs and preferences.
While each restaurant's staff will be limited to the ingredients that they currently have on hand in their kitchen, I think you will find that the Cast Members will be happy to work with you and find a meal that is to your liking. In my experience, many dishes can be modified in ways such as leaving the sauce off or substituting the side dishes. My son has also been able to order an adult-sized portion of a kids' menu dish or a full-sized portion of a side dish such as macaroni & cheese. However, please keep in mind that since Story Book Dining at Artist Point has a prix fixe menu, you will pay the same price regardless of what you order. Younger diners, ages 3-9 will be charged the children's price, and all Guests ages 10 and up will pay the adult price.
Jennifer, I hope that you and your daughter enjoy your dinner at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Don't forget to stop by and visit The Queen. This rare character experience is wickedly fun! If we can help you with anything else as you prepare for your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort, please visit us again.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
