    Hello! My daughter and I will be traveling to DW in early June, and I want to see the Welcome Ceremony at MK. Can you tell me more about it and when I will need to be at the park? The day we are doing MK is an EMH day, with the EMH in the morning. Thanks

    Hi Amy:

    Disney still presents the opening ceremony at Magic Kingdom on early morning extra magic hour days.  The festive and energy-filled show usually begins about 15 minutes prior to Park opening so get there a bit early.  The singing and dancing is presented on the elevated railroad platform so you should have a good view from the courtyard below.  My family never misses the characters, singing, and dancing to start our Magic Kingdom days to help get us energized.
