    My daughter is traveling to Disney with friends in December. I have purchased her ticket and made the park reservation. If we set her magicband to charge via credit card, will that go to the friends credit card or mine. they are staying at a Disney reso

    How exciting that your daughter will be headed to Walt Disney World in just a few short months! I bet she will have such an incredible time with her friends, building memories that will last a lifetime! So, let’s get to your question, shall we?

    Purchases made using your daughter’s MagicBand would be charged directly to the Disney Resorts Collection hotel room she will be staying in. Then, at the end of the trip, the room folio can be paid via a credit card, but it will include all charges from the Guests staying in the room, not just your daughter’s purchases. Unfortunately, there is no way to make charges directly on a credit card using a MagicBand.

    To make things easier, I recommend picking up some Disney Gift Cards for your daughter to bring with her on her trip. This way, you can provide a set amount that she can spend, which is a great way to make sure your daughter has a way to make purchases and order food items without overspending. I love using Disney Gift Cards whenever I visit. They really help me stay on budget and stop me from buying every snack in sight! This is not easy to do, given all the incredible food available throughout Walt Disney World!
