Hello, my daughter has a torn tendon and will be in a walking boot on our up coming trip. We are worried she won't be able to ride Flight of Passage with the boot on. Will she be able to or is she out of luck?

Hi Nicole and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am the perfect person to answer your question because last year I spent several months in a walking boot with tendon issues. I also visited the Walt Disney World Resort with my friends while wearing the boot. I had a love/hate relationship with the boot. I knew it was helpful but it was cumbersome.

I was very concerned the boot would be in the way when I rode Avatar Flight of Passage for the first time! I wanted to ride so badly I might have even considered removing the boot for the ride. The fantastic news is I had no problems riding Avatar Flight of Passage with the walking boot on. The restraint was snug against the boot but it closed properly. I think your daughter will be just fine. I actually had no problems with any attractions while wearing the walking boot.

Nicole, thank you for visiting us again with another great question. Be sure to let us know if we can help you with any other questions! Please wish your daughter speedy healing for me!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
