HI my daughter any I have tickets for Mickeys not so Scary Halloween Party any advice? Also areparents also to dress up?

Hi Denise!  Our family enjoys this special event every year during our fall visit.

We like to enter the park early (you can enter as early as 4:00pm with your party ticket) and have dinner at one of the restaurants. Our favorite is Liberty Tree Tavern but second to that is Tony's. By all means you both need to dress up for this evening.  You can wear your costumes to the park and our family likes to get costumes that all relate to each other...one year we were all bowling pins and one bowling ball!

Many of the attractions are open that night with less lines then a normal day.  There will be entertainment by the castle and of course the great Halloween parade and fireworks that night.  The biggest highlight for me is the running of the Headless Horseman through the park 15 minutes before the parade.  Find a good spot along the parade route so you don't miss this....a beautiful black horse named Khan will come galloping down the streets with sparks flying and if you are lucky will stop and rear up before heading off with his headless rider!

You did not mention the age of your daughter but there are also two dance parties going on in the park. One is in Tomorrowland and the one we like is in Fantasyland. Some of the characters come out to dance with the kids and our grandson loves this!

Everyone is allowed to trick or treat so pick up the Halloween bag they will give you when you enter and enjoy the night eating all that good candy!  Have fun!
