Greetings, Chamari, and welcome to planDisney! First things first, happy birthday to your daughter!
Spending time together at the Disneyland Resort is a great way to celebrate her special day.
Your plan sounds good, Chamari. Once your daughter turns three, she'll need a theme park ticket and park reservation. She won't need either for the days before since she'll still be two. Just
purchase a park ticket for her and make a reservation for the last day of your trip. That would be the day to plan a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – this fun experience is available for an added cost to Guests ages 3 to 12, and requires a valid theme park ticket and Disneyland Park reservation.
I took my youngest daughter to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shortly after she turned three. She was fascinated by the Fairy Godmother's Apprentice who styled her hair and painted her nails. We got the package that came with a Disney Princess gown, and it's easy to say that she felt like royalty all day long!
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance. If you don't see availability right now, keep checking back. You can also try making a walk-up reservation the morning of (earlier is better), but there's no guarantee that there will be availability.
Make sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button at the start of the day for your daughter to wear. Many retail locations and City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. have them. We've had Cast Members, Characters, and even other Guests wish us a Happy Birthday after noticing the button. Speaking of Characters, it could be fun to purchase an autograph book for your daughter so she can collect signatures from all her favorite Disney pals as she meets them.
Chamari, on behalf of all of us at planDisney, I'd like to wish your daughter a very happy birthday. I hope you enjoy a truly magical visit. If you think of any other questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help!
Your pal,
Kriss
