Hey there, Jasmine! It’s always a delight to help one of my Colorado neighbors plan a trip to the
Disneyland Resort!
Our daughters could be two peas in a pod because my daughter has always been very tall for her age as well. So much so that she was riding roller coasters by the time she was barely 3 years old. You can rest easy - you won’t have any trouble getting your 2-year-old into the parks without a ticket. A Cast Member may ask her age, but they will not ask to see a birth certificate or anything like that.
Be sure to measure your daughter, with her shoes on, before your visit. If she is willing and you both feel comfortable, there are lots of attractions with shorter height restrictions that may be available to her. Both Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters have a 32” height requirement and are super fun attractions in Cars Land. If your daughter is a thrill-seeker like mine and is at least 35” inches tall, you might want to try
Gadget’s Go Coaster in Mickey’s Toontown. It’s a fast, yet tame, little roller coaster that is the perfect introduction to thrill attractions for little kids.
If you have any other questions about traveling to the parks with little ones, don’t hesitate to stop by again. See ya real soon!
