Welcome to planDisney, Jorge! I hope you and your family are getting excited about your upcoming sailing on Disney Cruise Line.
All Guests will need
citizenship documents for Online Check-In and to board on embarkation day. For U.S. Citiziens, that is either a U.S. passport or an original state-issued birth certificate if not using a passport. For Guests 16 years of age and older, a physical government-issued photo ID is also required when using an original state-issued birth certificate. During Online Check-in, each Guest who is traveling will need a digital copy of citizenship documents to upload during the check-in process. The physical versions of the documentation must be brought to the cruise terminal for check-in, and digital/mobilestate-issued IDs are not acceptable to sail.
I am assuming your daughter's friend is under the age of 18. If so, her parents will need to print and complete the
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form to give to you to present at check-in at the cruise terminal.
If any of you have prescription medication or other needed medications, make sure to have those in your carry-on bag, and do not leave them in your checked luggage. It's also a good idea to pack sunscreen, swimwear, and other items you may need for the first few hours onboard in your carry-on bag. Your checked luggage will magically appear at your stateroom later on embarkation day.
Jorge, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney before you sail away in December. We are happy to help!
Adventure is out there!
