Hi Becky!
My son has multiple food allergies, so I know from my family's experience that the chefs and Cast Members go above and beyond to make sure every Guest has a fantastic meal while accommodating
special dietary requests. In general, most table service and quick service restaurants can accommodate a dairy-free diet and offer
allergy-friendly menus to help Guests find safe and tasty meals. In my experience, I have found that table service restaurants have larger kitchens and pantries and are able to offer more options for each meal.
To accommodate your daughter's diet during your trip, the key will be communication with restaurant Cast Members. For table service restaurants, you should add your daughter's restriction to all of your dining reservations, either when you
make your dining reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. When you arrive at your reservation, you can work with your server and the chef to pick a safe meal for her. For quick service locations, you can use an allergy-friendly menu to find safe meals and you can always ask to speak to a manager to assist you in ordering. All of the snack locations have binders with ingredient information for all of the items they serve. Also be on the look out for
Snacks with Character at the gift shops around Walt Disney World Resort, which include allergy-friendly snacks from brands such as Enjoy Life Foods!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
