Hey there, Margaret, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! The Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to reconnect with Family and Friends! And since you’re planning to make the trip, maybe you can be swayed into turning the trip into a mini vacation! You can’t let your daughter hog all of the fun!

Margaret, the short answer to your question is: Yes! You can definitely spend some time with your daughter during her stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Each Disney Resort Collection Hotel has a security team Cast Member stationed at the hotel parking lot entrance. After you approach the security station, let the Cast Member know that you are there to visit and have dinner with your daughter who is a resort Guest. The Cast Member will ask for your identification and let you through. To ensure this is a smooth process, I suggest that you ask your daughter to send you a text message stating the time and place that you all are meeting for dinner. If needed, this could evidence to the security Cast Member that you have a valid reason to gain entry to the resort.

I hope this helps, Margaret! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
