My daughter and I are staying at the Pop for the very first time on property! I have a rental scooter being dropped off there by 8:30am the day we check in. We also plan to be at AK all day. Can we drop off our luggage and p/u scooter before checking in?

    Hi Jessica!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Your vacation is right around the corner. I hope that you are starting to get excited!

Disney’s Pop Century Resort holds a very special place in my heart. It was the first Resort hotel that my family and I stayed at during our first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Traveling through the lobby brought me right back to my childhood. I loved looking at the shadow boxes that house all the old toys and relics from the past. The Resort hotel is clean and family-friendly and has recently undergone an extensive refresh!

I would highly recommend taking advantage of the Direct-to-Room service. You can begin the check-in process in advance using your My Disney Experience app or by logging in to Disneyworld.com. This service allows you to bypass the Front Desk and go right to your room. You will receive notifications on your mobile device with real-time updates on your arrival day, including your room number, and when your room is ready. You can unlock your door with your MagicBand or use the Unlock Door feature in your My Disney Experience app. Utilizing this service will allow you to store your luggage with Bell Services and head out to start your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! As long as your scooter is delivered on time, you will also be able to pick that up from Bell Services.

I hope that you and your daughter have the most magical time! Be sure to stop back and visit us real soon. We can’t wait to answer any other questions that you may have.
