My daughter is starting to accumulate gift cards for her use while at Disneyworld. Is there a way to link her gift cards to her magic band, so she doesn't have to carry around the cards?

    Hi Tammy,

I see your trip is coming up real soon. Are you guys excited thinking that you’ll have the best time ever?

Disney Gift Cards are an awesome way to save for a Disney vacation. And also, a good way for kids to be able to bring back a nice souvenir. Did you know you can now combine many Disney Gift Cards into one? Simply visit the Disney Gift Card web site and select the option to transfer balance. This is a great way to only having to bring one card, and the site lets you keep track of the balance on them too.

Now, at this time, you cannot link a Disney Gift Card to a MagicBand. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can enable charging privileges on a MagicBand, but this will simply allow you to charge the purchases you make, to your Resort hotel folio. You can then contact the front desk and give them your Disney Gift Card information so they may pay your balance from them.

Hope I was able to help you with your question. But if you have any other ones, don’t hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. See you real soon!

    Ricardo.
