My daughter Just started college in southern CA and wanted to buy an annual pass. Do you know when they will be available? Is there a pass for college students?

Hey there, Shari! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney and sending me a question!

Wow! My oldest is starting to think about colleges here in southern California and it's both exciting and hard to believe that my baby will soon be leaving us. I hope that your daughter is settling in well and enjoying her time. I really wish I had great news to share with more information about the Magic Key program. Unfortunately, we do not have any information as to when sales for new Magic Key passes will open up. We do know that they want to prioritize the renewals first and hopefully, that won't be too long of a period. I know so many Guests are waiting for sales to come back.

While there are not any specific pass types for college students, there is a Southern California-specific pass, the Imagine Key. This is for residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599, which could apply to her if she's within those zip codes. This is a great, affordable offer for locals, however, it also has the most block-out dates, so I would look at the access calendar and make sure it would work with her schedule.

I suggest keeping your eyes on the Magic Key information page, as well as the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram page for any upcoming announcements about when sales will begin.

Karen, thanks again for taking the time to stop by. Please come back and send me any other questions you might have!
